Tokenomics
Total Token Supply
The total supply of GIVE tokens is capped at 1 billion (1,000,000,000). This finite supply helps maintain the token's value and prevents inflation.
Initial Pool Allocation
The distribution of the total token supply is as follows:
Category | Percentage | Tokens | Vesting Period |
---|---|---|---|
Founders and Advisors | 15% | 150,000,000 | Allocated to Founders and Advisors of Charity Coin |
Marketing and Partnerships | 10% | 100,000,000 | Discretionary allocation for marketing and platform growth |
Community Airdrop | 40% | 400,000,000 | Community reward for donation participation |
Liquidity Pool | 10% | 100,000,000 | Utilized to bootstrap token liquidity |
Donation Pool | 25% | 250,000,000 | Immediate capitalization of the donation pool |
Transaction Fee Structure
Each transaction with GIVE tokens incurs a 1% fee, automatically redirected to the Donation Pool. This mechanism continually capitalizes the Donation Pool through GIVE's token velocity.
Token Holder Rights
- Community Voting: Funds from the Donation Pool are allocated to charitable causes based on community voting.
- Voting Rights: Token holders vote on proposals regarding which charitable causes should receive funding, with voting power proportional to the number of tokens held.
